It is assumed that before contacting me for editing, commissions, or any other services or work, that you have read and agreed to the following terms. Additionally, when this document refers to the 'user', I as the creator am referring to any person who is utilizing my work in the context of this document, or has the possibility of doing so. I reserve the following rights in regard to my creations and work.I reserve the right to terminate all contact with and services for the user (prospective or not) at my discretion.
I will keep versions of my work for a variety of reasons, such as proof of creation.
When attempting to utilize my creations for personal and/or non-commercial work, I require adherence to the following; explicit credit that is accessible to any and all viewing the user's work.
I reserve the right to record any and all conversations with the user, again for a variety of reasons; including (but not limited to) ensuring that the user follows through on payment (if applicable) and/or credit, proof of interaction, and public ridicule.
When attempting to utilize my creations for commercial work or anything that has the possibility of bringing in revenue to the user, I require adherence to the following; explicit credit that is accessible to any and all who are viewing the work, as well as contacting me and being granted explicit permission, as well as discussing the possibility of payment (in the suggested forms of a commission (a one-time payment, made by the prospective user to me), a trade of some sort, or some other method). The last mentioned section (“as well as ... some other method”) can be waived at my discretion.Under the condition that the user claims that my work is their own in any way, shape, or form, such as (but not being limited to) crediting themselves for creation or wrongfully claiming that they participated in said creation, or wrongfully claiming that they have followed all instructions given and/or have access to my work, I reserve the right to pursue any and all legal options against the user.Derivative work is allowed under the following conditions; the creator of said derivative work contacts me and is granted permission; they properly credit me as the original creator, and the derivative is enough of a change from the original (to be determined by me).If any of the above terms and conditions are violated by the user, then I again reserve the right to pursue any and all legal options against the user.In summary of the above terms and conditions, I simply wish to be credited where applicable, possibly receive something in return, and for my work to not be stolen.
If you wish to use my music in online media such as YouTube videos, Twitch streams, etc., I ask that you follow the above. As long as these are done, I will never pursue a DMCA claim (or equivalent) against the user.I intend for all of my applicable work to be freely accessible to the public immediately after my death. My hope is that I will still be credited, however.
